Almost 5 years ago was the passing of my husband, Leroy. And if you were to ask me then. I would have told you “my life was over”. My husband took my life with him that night for he was my LIFE. The love of my life for 40 years. Leaving my daughters and their family as my only family left that stayed connected. But that too soon changed, my daughters could no longer get along and parted as family. And as I could not make the choice between them. Our connections faded. What kept me going was my baby boy Mickey, he was now my one and only best friend and together we continue through our days. So my days were consisted of working, watching tv and playing on FB. Not much of a life.

Then about two months ago I took a big step to make some changes in my life. And the first one was dropping off FB for a while to see what it would feel like. I found out I had so much more time and I was really enjoying my time. I started to read and soon I fell in love with reading. My favorite books are paranormal romances. But I’m opened to others, I find most of my books from Amazon and Goodreads. Another great site for reading would be BookBub.com. Reading seem to bring more peace into my life, I don’t understand how. But since I have started reading, I was feeling better in unexplainable ways. So I did some searching and as a result I found these statements.

Now I have no idea where I got this list from but at the time I found them. I saved them to a note and I am not taking credit either. But these are some very interesting reasons you should pick up book now and start reading. You too will feel the changes taking place. I can say, I can relate to all 12 of these statements for I have experienced everyone.
